This Winter is our Elephant Song Collection! The Elephant Rhythms feature triple-meter drumming patterns inspired by the traditional social dance from Mali known as Suku. We’ll enjoy dramatic play in “Elephant Stampede” and choreographed dancing and drumming in “Music Everywhere.” We’ll also learn a delightful Gaelic children’s song called “Dilín ó Deamhas” and, of course, have a blast doing “The Elephant Dance”! All the songs in this collection have been chosen and arranged specifically to support each student’s music development.
In addition to your weekly classes, tuition includes a new songbook, along with online access to the music and bonus activities, as well as Rhythm Kids videos to watch at home.

Rhythm Kids follows through on the Music Together® vision to help children complete the pathway of early childhood music development from birth through age 8. As part of the Rhythm Kids experience, children and their grownups can enjoy drumming play and practice sessions at home with the help of online play-along videos featuring Rhythm Kids creator Tom Foote.

Classes are for children preK–2 (ages 4 through 8) and include:
-
Weekly, 45-minute classes
-
Animal Collection Songbook and CD each semester
-
Access to online video tutorials and play-alongs
-
A child–sized djembe drum (for the purchase or rental of $30.)
